About me ...
My journey as a writer has been inspired by my reverent connection with community and the inherant importance of it to human lives -- in the way we live, affect one another, inter-relate with other beings, and engage with the greater nature that surrounds us, our earth-home.
I am grateful for the many interests and creative talents endowed to me by my father -- the philosophy and love of music, and my mother -- creative inspiration of all things hand-made, from art to cooking ... and how both my mother and father instilled the importance of self-integrity, dignity, respect, and values that all beings inhabit. These balanced 'ways of life' enable me to enjoy life in all its complexities and playful wonderings.
Today, my community work is expressed through my literary materials, sharing other's works, and in the everyday creating artisanal self-care products through my company, AumOui Lifestyle Essentials.
I am grateful for the privilege of evolving as a human, learning about other's perspectives, and being able to share meaningful and impactful ideas with the greater world ... whilst having a great deal of fun!

Authenticity first
Every word, every line must ring true. I believe in writing from a place of honesty, even when the truth is uncomfortable. What makes us uncomfortable holds us back, and so allowing space for authenticity is empowering.
Empathy through sharing
Learning about different experiences help us to bridge the otherwise imperceptible qualities that influence behaviour. In this way, we can expand on the nuances toward a truer understanding of one another.
Research & depth
Diving deeper into the history, philosophies, wisdom that has brought humans to where we are right now is key. To simply accept what is without context is perilous. And so, to share these insights and information with people ... it's meaningful.
Reader connection
This relationship -- between writer and reader -- is a sacred. One that rests on trust. I write to create recognition and understanding of what we already know to be true in our hearts. In this way, the space for remembrance is allowed.
